Workspace
The LivePro visual workspace contains more than 1,700 cues; 96 cues per page - laid out over 2 sets of 9 pages.
Each cue can contain an image, two separate effects, a colour sequence, beam sequence or any combination. The workspace also contains controls to provide real-time control of size, position, scan rate, brightness, rotation angle/speed and colour.
4-Track Output System
LivePro also boasts a 4-track platform, where up to 4 cues can be simultaneously and independently controlled; this overcomes the problem of a "one cue at a time" format, allowing multiple layering of beam effects, mirror chases and animations.
Cue-to-cue Transitions
The live "cue to cue" transition control includes such transitions as morph, cross cut, fades and zooms etc. You can even program your own transition effects.
Beam and TTL Chasers
The Beam and TTL chasers can be programmed to output any sequence of beam or TTL chases that the user wishes. The Beam chaser is designed for mirror bounce chases and can output up to 64 mirrors at any one time. The TTL chaser is designed for beam table systems that utilise diffraction gratings, colour flags, lumia wheels etc, or can be used to control outboard effects such as rotating mirrors, fog machines etc.
Audio Effects
With its own Winamp plugin, audio can be used to control the size, position and brightness of the image, and can also be used to detect beats in the audio. LivePro is a very music-orientated program; there are three separate beat sources, and cues have "jump to" beat triggering, which allows LivePro to automatically switch cues after a specified number of beats.
Additional features include:
- drop and drag cue editing
- Comprehensive MIDI support
- Enhanced network capabilities
- Four separate animated text engines
- Record a sequence for later playback
