Poly 20 Kit

A small stepper motor controls the movement of the the poly wheel grating disc using a fast bipolar drive stage and dedicated micro controller. The micro controller allows the poly wheel to be controlled by a number of different control systems; using the following control inputs, which are included:

Analogue 0-5V Input

to select specific effects, or rotation speeds
TTL Digital Control rotate wheel, change direction & reset
DMX Control select effect, rotation speeds, sequences; all compatible with the Laser Visuals DMX 4 Channel controller (optional at extra cost)

The stepper motor mount & driver is used in conjunction with multi effects diffraction gratings (for example the Poly 20)

The stepper motor has 200 fine positions that you can manually rotate the poly effects wheel through; this enables you, for example, to have 10 different positions per effect on a Poly 20 wheel. There are also 7 different auto rotate speeds (for stand alone mode), ranging from very slow to very fast.

An auxiliary Output is included for controlling a beam switching device, such as the Laser Visuals Optical Actuator. This is required to enable the laser beam to switch path; instead of the beam going direct to your galvanometers, the Optical Actuator redirects the beam to go through the effects wheel.

The complete product includes a: Motor Mount, Motor and Drive Circuit / Controller.
